Digital Accessibility Policy

Ohio State’s Digital Accessibility policy and federal law applies to all digital information and services at Ohio State - whether it's new, old, or archived. While making sure everyone has equal access is required by law, it also reflects Ohio State's mission as a modern land grant university.

When you have completed this 25-minute course, you will be able to 

  • Define digital accessibility and explain why it's important
  • Recognize the broad categories of digital information and services that the Digital Accessibility policy covers
  • Apply the 7 Core Skills to create new content or update existing content to meet digital accessibility standards
  • Understand your personal responsibility in ensuring that any digital information or services you work with meet Ohio State's Minimum Digital Accessibility Standards
  • Identify who to contact for support when you have accessibility questions, need technical help, or if someone reports a problem accessing digital content.
